OUGD504 - Design for Print - Primary Research 3

Books I have gained information from to get content for the publication. All Harvard referenced in the final publication, these books helped me understand print in a much deeper level than reference or glossary terms. Each show examples of products in printed form, this is something that I must explore in the final resolution as it helps a non-designer visualise terms.

This book was possibly the best and most informative piece of literature that I came across in the whole module. It is very thorough in small paragraphs and cover a variety of different mediums.

I used this book very shortly to gain some more terminology about type, it not a book which I will be purchasing.

All of the information on carbon paper info and electronic recognition technology was taken from this book, I came across it in Vernon Street and never looked back. Having a book dedicated to the design and functionality of forms is quite a niche.

Thermography was a gem of a find within this module, I had never seen thermography before on such a detailed scale until I received my sample packs. I learned that it uses heat to adhere a substrate to the ink, something which could only be read about in this book.
