OUGD504 - Design for print - holding it together

I like the idea of constructing a folded file with a net designed to fit a small scale publication.

The idea of using ribbon is worth playing with as it is a cheap and easily manipulated material, the overall publication would mirror a higher end piece of design and would have to work with several different stocks so could become tricky.

This would be great to have as the swatch cover slip, containing the stock with protection and design. Having the stock just slightly visible could add and edge of exclusivity with protection also in mind. This would need to act as a separate item that is packaged with the publication.

Having individually packaged sheets of stock is not feasible due to size and in order to make it look decent, I would need a large range of stock at the same size.

For thinner individual publications this could work very well, the publication at present is however over 80 pages and therefore this must bne considered as possibly being too large.
